BACKGROUND

Hinojosa Packaging, a family-owned group and European leader in sustainable packaging solutions, with over 70 years of experience and 15 production plants in the Iberian Peninsula, achieved sales of €419 million in 2019.

Galería Gráfica: A family-owned company with a long history of 70 years, dedicated to the manufacture of luxury packaging with high added value and high technical specifications. Its products are primarily aimed at the world of perfumery, cosmetics, gourmet foods, wines, and spirits. Its philosophy is similar to that of Hinojosa, with a commitment to continuous innovation, close customer service, and a pursuit of excellence. These premium products are manufactured using highly specialized, state-of-the-art machinery. All of the above has provided them with a loyal and diverse customer base.

TRANSACTION

This transaction will allow Hinojosa to enter the luxury packaging market segment, thus expanding the services it provides to its customers with a specialized company that shares a similar philosophy and values, such as a clear commitment to constant innovation and the pursuit of excellence in its products.

Galería Gráfica, which manufactured more than 120 million cases and generated revenues of just over €6 million in 2019, thus consolidates its trajectory of significant growth in recent years by becoming part of Hinojosa, one of the leading European industrial groups in the packaging sector.

Galería Gráfica current workforce will remain in place after the transaction, including its current management team, which will continue to lead the plant after joining Grupo Hinojosa.
